2009 PCC Paving Award Nominations
The Iowa Concrete Paving Association will continue its tradition of honoring the best paving projects constructed in Iowa during the 46th Annual Concrete Paving Workshop to be held at the Airport Holiday Inn in Des Moines, February 3-5, 2010.
A select panel of judges will rate contractor nominated projects from thirteen categories. Iowa DOT nominates projects in several other categories.
Consider your 2009 projects with regard to workmanship, ride, quality control, contractor management, job prosecution and complexity. The minimum size of a nominated project should be 5,000 SY. The size of a project is considered as a factor in the complexity score.
Nomination Forms must be received in this office by October 1, 2009. Projects must be completed by October 15, 2009. Make as many copies of the nomination form as necessary for your categories. Please make plans to photograph projects now. Construction photos and photos of completed projects are an important part of the awards ceremony in February.
