Gordon, a
registered Civil Engineer in Iowa and Nebraska, directs the overall
activities and programs of the ICPA, which represents 30 contractor
members and 80 allied associates. He integrates and coordinates
the Association objectives for technology transfer; research and development;
encouragement of high standards of workmanship and products; and
promotion of the use of concrete for highways, streets, airfields and
other public improvements.

John came to ICPA after
eight years with the Iowa DOT, where he made significant contributions
as a liaison with city and county officials. He is responsible for
expanding the Association's outreach to Iowa municipalities, their
consultants, and counties, offering assistance in pavement program
planning with a variety of concrete solutions.

Thomas
Parsons and Steve Mallicoat serve the Iowa Concrete Paving Association
and the Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete Association as Regional Service
Managers. Thomas and Steve are responsible for outreach to Iowa municipalities, counties,
consulting engineers, architects and builders, as well as ready mix
producers, paving contractors and allied associates.
As representatives of both the Iowa Ready Mixed Concrete
Association and the Iowa Concrete Paving Association, they will offer
assistance with concrete solutions to the needs of the paving, building
and general construction industries. |

Clare, a
registered civil engineer in Iowa, joined the ICPA in 1998 after
18½ years of service with the Iowa DOT, and then working for Koss
Construction Company in Des Moines as Manager of the Milling Division
and Vice President of Engineering. He retired from Koss in
1997. Clare works with county engineers, boards of supervisors,
and ICPA contractor members to advance the use of concrete pavements
around our state.
